Established in the year 1995, Karthik Clinic and Karthik Ultrasound Scan Centre has been a pillar of the community for decades. Since its humble beginnings from a small clinic operating from Dr. Chitra's home, it is now a tertiary referral centre, blending cutting edge technology with experience and quality care for every patient and their families. It is the preferred centre for obstetricians and gynecologists from all over Karnataka and neighbouring states.

The clinic specialises in Fetal medicine, an extension of the branch of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which focuses specifically on identification, diagnosis, and treatment of concerns regarding the fetus that may emerge during pregnancy. Its focus is on the fetus as the patient, and is an integral aspect of maternal health during pregnancy. It comprises of services such as:

• Targetted Ultrasound scanning to screen the fetus for structural normalcy, look out for markers of chromosomal abnormalities, track the growth and development of the fetus throughout pregnancy.
• Procedures such as Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villi Sampling, and Cord Blood sampling, to check for chromosomal disorders.
• Interpretation of results from such procedures and treatment options.
• Genetic counselling services to guide parents (or would-be parents) through difficult conversations around fetal abnormalities, concerns with recurrent pregnancy losses, previous history of fetal abnormalities, etc.
